Disadvantages  of  Eating Mangoes

High in Fiber:  Mangoes contain a high amount of fiber, which can be beneficial for digestion in moderation. 

High Glycemic Index:  Mangoes have a high glycemic index, meaning they can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar levels. 

Latex Allergy:  Individuals with a latex allergy may experience cross-reactivity with mango, leading to allergic reactions like itching, hives, and swelling. 

High in Calories:  Mangoes are a good source of energy but also contain a significant amount of calories. Eating excessive amounts can contribute to weight gain 

Skin Irritation:  The peel and sap of mangoes contain urushiol, the same compound found in poison ivy. This can cause skin irritation and contact dermatitis in some individuals.
