What Is Yoga?
Yoga is the science of living life in the right way, hence it should be included in daily life. It works on all aspects of the person: physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. Yoga means ‘unity’ or ‘to bind’. The root of this word is Sanskrit word ‘yuj’, Which means ‘to join’. The meaning of this joining on faith is Unity of individual consciousness with universal consciousness.
On a practical basis, Yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing body, mind and emotions. This yoga or unity is based on Asana, Pranayama, Mudrā, Bandha, Shatkam and Meditation. It is achieved through exercise. So yoga is also a way of life and a supreme purpose in itself.
Yoga first benefits the external body (physical body), which is mostly A practical and familiar starting place for people. After the external body (physical body), yoga works on mental and emotional aspects.

Rules of doing yoga

- It is the right time for sunrise or sunset.
- Take bath before doing yoga.
- Do yoga on an empty stomach. Do not eat anything 2 hours before doing yoga.
- wear comfortable cotton clothes
- Like the body, the mind should also be clean – remove all bad thoughts from the mind before doing yoga.
- Practice yoga in a quiet environment and clean place.
- Keep your entire attention on your yoga practice only.
- Do yoga exercises with patience and perseverance.
- Don’t force yourself with your body.
- Be patient, it takes time to feel the benefits of yoga.
- Continue practicing yoga regularly.
- Do not eat anything for 30 minutes after doing yoga. Do not take a bath for 1 hour.
- Pranayama should always be done after easy exercises.
- If there is any medical problem, please consult the doctor first.
- If the pain starts increasing or any new problem occurs, stop the yoga practice immediately.
- Always do Shavasana at the end of yoga practice.The best time for yoga is one to two hours before sunrise in the morning. If morning is not possible for you, you can also do it at sunset. Apart from this, pay special attention to these things also.
- If any time of the day is fixed for yoga, then it will be fruitful.
- Do all the asanas on a yoga mat or carpet.
- You can do yoga in an open place like a park, or even at home. Just make sure that the place is such that you can breathe freely.
